The Seattle Yacht Club wanted to create a book about their history on their 125th birthday. Treasures, Trophies, & Traditions of the Seattle Yacht Club, 1892-2017. We had the honor of working with their Historian, Fred Woodard, and other staff to design a book that showed their amazing and rich history. The book contains not only the history, but all of the traditions it’s held over the years.
The solution was a single bound book, designed with old and new photographs that told their story. The book needed to be informative, as a history, as well as visually impactful.

we laid out the book using the 550 photographs provided by their staff to help drive a topical story type narrative
